Resolved styling on modal pushdown (#156744)

Problem

• Development was done for a screen capture tool and to display the z-index of the navbar ahead of modals.
• Extra padding space was added to push the modal downwards; this affects the communication portal modal, as it is position fixed and set to an exact position; the padding pushes it even more down

 

Solution

• Add a padding override to ensure it is not affected

Resolved system access (#156612)

Problem

• After pen test - discovered that system alerts can be updated based on action regardless of whether that belongs to the login user
• Audience items are not limited to the admin role to be retrieved

 

Solution

• Added validation and security checks to ensure it belongs to the recipient user, as well as limiting it to the admin user

Implemented performance improvements within ReportBuilder_ETL (#156457)

Problem

• rbDataIntegrityResults runs with each DWH run, which is not needed
• rbListItemValue does a full refresh with each midnight run, which is not needed

 

Solution

• Added a step for rbDataIntegrityResults to run only during the midnight run
• Simplified the rbListItemValue calculation logic and configured it to refresh only during the midnight run.

Created custom SSIS Package for Offline refresh (#153100)

• Custom accUserLoginReport needs to be added within V9 DWH

Problem

Solution

• This pull request introduces enhancements to the import and update logic for user date fields in the JobProfiler service, as well as adds a new gRPC client registration in the Import service. The main focus is on making the updates to StartDateInGroup and StartDateInCompany more precise, ensuring audit fields are updated, and improving service communication.

Resolved user company date throwing when non-existent (#156762)

Problem

• Command handler is throwing a not found exception when there is no entry for the user company date, which contradicts the domain service that is called in where it created the entity when not existing,

 

Solution

• Removed the throw case exception and let the domain service handle the correct logic

Fix people group create (#156435)

Problem

• The page breaks when attempting to add a new People Group – People Group added successfully when navigating to People Groups again. The redirect broke due to a code change by me and a bug fix on Master that caused the code to clash when Rapax was merged to master.

 

Solution

• Changed the AjaxRedirect to RedirectToAction.

Solution

• Display a warning message on the Approve, Decline and Request for more information actions if it has already been actioned

Problem

• Unable to delete org node with deleted positions linked to it

 

Solution

• A change to the ValidateOrgNodeDeletionQuery logic to ensure that only non-deleted positions are considered when validating if an organisational node can be deleted.

• With new V8 changes, the LMS search bar is hidden on the LMS Portal, and the global search bar is used.

• Hide the global search bar again until the relevant V8 functionality is merged to Master.

Problem

• Single Ruleset Administrator can enter CreateCountry, but the shared Master Data policy rejects the request when ManageMasterData is excluded.

 

Solution

• Allow Single Ruleset Administrator to administer ruleset Master Data by role alone, matching the existing Global Ruleset Administrator and Tenant Administrator shortcuts.

Restrict master-data administration by table permissions (#156426)

Problem

• Accessing Admin Pages
  • Some logged-in users were able to reach sensitive areas meant for managing data without having the right permissions, simply because of how the system was set up.
• Access to Tables
  • The rules in place for accessing certain product data were not clear or consistent, which meant that just having administrative permissions didn’t guarantee users could access specific data tables.
• Central API Calls
  • When using the MasterData API, the system required users to be signed in, but it often didn’t check if they had the right permissions to make changes to the data.
• Tenant-Level Administration
  • There needed to be clearer rules about who could access admin functions at the tenant level to prevent unauthorised actions.
• Creating Countries
  • When trying to add a new country, the system incorrectly reported success even when it wasn’t actually possible due to missing data.

 

Solution

• Accessing Admin Pages
  • Restrict access so that only users with the right permissions can view and manage the sensitive data areas.
• Access to Tables
  • Standardise the rules for accessing data, ensuring that only users with specific roles related to the products can gain access.
• Central API Calls
  • Before allowing any changes to data, the system should check whether the user has the appropriate roles and permissions.
• Tenant-Level Administration
  • Limit the ability to make tenant-level requests to specific users who have appropriate administrative roles, preventing misuse.
• Creating Countries
  • If the system can’t create a new country because of missing data, it should properly notify the user that the operation is forbidden instead of incorrectly showing success.

Fix Feedback Report not showing when only the Feedback Report toggle is enabled (#156582)

Problem

• When only the Feedback Report toggle is turned on, it currently does not show the Feedback Report or the button for it unless there is also Score Label Mapping enabled for a review period as well.

• Ensure that whenever the Feedback Report toggle is enabled, the Feedback Report and button for it will show when the criteria have been met
