Roles and Responsibilities

The performance management moduleproduct is utilised bysupports three primary role players.  See below for a breakdown of their responsibilities.

 

User/User / Employee


  • Discuss the manager's expectations for the performance year with the manager.
Create own performance contractcontract, by:
  • UseUsing a library contract template (with KPApredefined content)objectives in a number of predefined agreement sections
Or start the agreement creation from whichscratch. Or copy a historical contract as a starting point. Balance section, and objective weights across all agreement sections. Submit the contract to createmanager ownfor consideration and approval. Participate in check-ins performed by the manager. Self-rate the agreement objectives during the review period Decision: Expected to rate KPI’speriod, and submit perto period (employee’s score) manager Submit final score forDiscuss the agreementobjectives and their self-rated scores with the manager. Submit final score forRe-contract the contractobjectives (if needed) during every subsequent assessment period.

 

Performance Manager


  • AllowedDiscuss tothe co-createperformance employeeyear contractsexpectations fromwith scratchthe or using templates employee.
  • ApproveAssist the employee with performance contract creation, by:
    • Using a contract template with predefined objectives in a number of predefined agreement sections
  • Or start the agreement creation from scratch.
Or copy a historical contract as a starting point. Or, copy a contract from another employee as a starting point. Consider the contract, balance objectives and section weights, and approve. Perform objective check-ins. Do a personal rating of the agreement objectives during the review period content period. RateDiscuss the objectives and personal (manager) scores with the employee KPI’sduring the review period.  Provide the final scores per review period (manager’s score) Decision: Revise employee KPI’s Provide and approve finalthe KPI score per review period period. Revise and approve final score forRe-contract the agreementobjectives (if Reviseneeded) andduring approveevery finalsubsequent scoreassessment for the contractperiod.

 

Performance Management Administrator


  • DoAssist employee and manager with all oftheir the above, impersonating either the user or his manager responsibilities.
  • Manage the master datadata:
    • Update libraries.
    • Create and/or deactivate performance cycles.
  • Create agreement templates.
