Problem

  • When importing StartDateInGroup/ StartDateInCompany as empty or null the the dates are imported as 1900-01-01 incorrectly

 

Solution

  • Improve the user date-import logic for how user company and group start dates are updated, ensuring more accurate, explicit handling of date values. The main focus is on splitting updates for different date fields and refining the conditions for when updates occur.

 

Resolve issue where incorrect SchemaId provided for 360 survey scores imports (#156208)

Problem

  • When 360 Survey Scores import is requested from V9, the schemaId is retrieved from the SessionHandler. This however does not work on Multi-Tenant environment which uses the Schema 1 credentials for connection to the Api, resulting in no records being returned since the provided PeriodId does not exists on Schema 1.

 

Solution

  • Correctly retrieve the V8 SchemaId from the Ruleset Client Id.

 

Job Management

Update select another approver translations to use Reason (#156343)

Problem

  • Please change 'add comments' to 'specify a Reason' and the Comments box label to 'Reason'.

  • People Group box shifts very far left when a People Group with a very long name is selected

Fallback user is not able to submit to another user (#156342)

Problem

  • When the Send Request button is clicked, an error message is shown. This is due to the family name being removed from JWT claims. Selecting another approver required a manual refresh or tab change to reload data

 

Solution

  • Change the username property to use username instead of surname. Fix the loading to load the current tab when selecting another approver.

 

Notifications

Log warnings and errors with the appropriate log level (#155706 & #152144)

Problem

  • Valid warning logs as errors rather than warnings

 

Solution

  • Updates the notification creation logic to improve error handling and logging for cases where notifications cannot be sent. The main changes focus on providing more informative and appropriate log messages and making the notification flow more robust by avoiding unnecessary exceptions. Warnings are now logged as such rather than errors

 

Adjust SystemAlert body field lengths (#155706)

Problem

  • The same system message that can be sent via a template cannot be sent as a system alert. The messages truncate for email and system messages when a real-world alert is saved.

 

Solution

  • Align the field sizes of System Alerts with the larger-sized fields as found in the notification templates. This ensures that messages can consistently be sent as either a system alert or a notification from either feature.

 

People Management

Resolved total user count for load more (#156407)

Problem

  • Has more was calculated as total count = pageSize, which always led to false

 

Solution

  • Add a correction to check against the total user count from the response

 

Add empty option within pay frequency selection (#156178)

Problem

  • No default selection option when no payroll connector is selected

  • When the review setup tab is no longer displaying because of terminated users, this is behaving correctly, but once a new user gets added, it opens the review setup again, causing the terminated users to still display

  • Add a check to ensure the users are not terminated

Problem

Correct ruleset join when retrieving review year setups (#152149)

Problem

  • Error when executing the service method ListUserReviewYearSetups, a SQL timeout occurs, causing a generic error to the service

 

Solution

  • Correct the review year setup people group join to use the proper table alias so user review year setups are filtered correctly. Also translate ArgumentException from ListAllUserReviewYearSetups into an InvalidArgument gRPC response instead of returning an internal server error.

 

Resolved Performance Issue when joining to get active users (#154901)

Problem

  • Recent change made to only join with active users; this causes a performance issue on Master when joining to the view for each user within the audience, as it was missing a few indexes

 

Solution

  • Add a change to join to the user library and then to the appointment to get needed checks; remove user view from query

 

Added change to not return ReviewSetup if subordinates are terminated (#154901)

Problem

  • When a target audience is linked to a review setup, that review setup is being returned to the dashboard to select regardless of whether the users within are terminated; request to not return the review setup if there are no active users within

 

Solution

  • Implemented a change to ensure that only the active people state identified within review setups is being returned
